Learn to save lives with Red Cross training
Knowing first aid could help you save someone’s
life in an emergency. First aid training is an important
part of disaster planning. The American Red Cross has
trained millions of people in first aid and CPR. CPR stands
for cardiopulmonary resuscitation, which is an emergency
procedure often used when someone’s heart stops
beating. It involved heart massage and artificial respiration
to help circulate blood to the person’s brain.
Red Cross first aid and CPR classes and certifications
are available for any age group – preschoolers to
adult - and help increase understanding, confidence and
