Ready or Not, Here Comes Reddy!

Ready, the official mascot of the Knoxville Area Chapter of the American Red Cross, makes public appearances at health fairs, safety events, and other community events. Ready helps to share the message that we all should be prepared for any disaster or emergency. Ready is also available for corporate events, birthdays or other community gatherings or events. Guidelines for Red Cross Reddy Mascot

1. Reddy may be reserved for periods up to one hour.  Any request for a longer time period must be approved by the Community Relations Coordinator.
2. The Red Cross reserves the right to limit Reddy's availability, depending on such factors as climate/weather, venue, or other circumstances.
3. Availability may be limited on weekdays during normal business hours.
4. Reddy will always be escorted.
5. If photos are to be taken at an event, please notify the Community Relations Coordinator when scheduling for your event.
6. Personal contact with Reddy other than handshakes or hugs by children is prohibited unless photos are being taken.  If at any time Reddy feels unsafe, he will exit the event.
7. Reddy may take a 5-10 minute break after being in attendance for 30 minutes depending upon the weather.
8. We ask all requests to be submitted 30 days in advance, if possible.  If you submit less than 30 days, your request will be honored only if Reddy is available.
