If the answer to this question is yes, then you are on the right page. The American Red Cross has a Speakers Bureau that consists of staff and volunteer experts on the American Red Cross and what we do.

Our speakers speak to church groups, civic organizations, business associations, school groups, youth groups, and other community groups on a regular basis. Our experts spoke at over 60 gatherings last year, and we would welcome the opportunity to share what we do with your group.

All of our topics can be formatted to time lenghts between ten and thirty minutes long and are appropriate for groups of two to two thousand. We do ask for requests to be at least one to two weeks in advance, if possible.

Speakers are available to share the following topics with your group:

  •  General Overview of the Red Cross and what we do

  •  Disaster Relief Presentation (how we respond to disasters and help disaster victims)

  •  Disaster Preparedness Presentation 1 (FIRE SAFETY)

  •  Disaster Preparedness Presentation 2 (WHAT DISASTERS CAN AFFECT US?)

  •  Armed Forces Emergency Services Presentation (How we serve the military)

  •  Health And Safety Presentation (Numerous Topics Available)

There is no charge for this service.
