The American Red Cross-Knoxville Area Chapter staffs
and operates free First Aid stations at over 160 events
each year in the Knoxville area. The majority of these
events occur at three different venues:

Neyland Stadium (UT home football games)

The Knoxville Civic Coliseum and Auditorium

Chilhowee Park (The Tennessee Valley Fair,
among others)
Our highly-trained team of volunteers respond to emergencies
ranging from cuts, scratches, and falls to heart
attacks and other life-threatening emergencies. There
will be roughly 50 volunteers in the stands at UT home
football games to respond to any emergencies that occur
there. Volunteers on our FAST teams are certified in
CPR and First Aid, are led by team captains with many
years of experience responding to emergencies, and
follow strict protocols in how to handle all types of
health emergencies.
